#1 in France: Hands-on with DxO ONE

To me the “fail” in it is the fact that you need to “assemble” it (attach it to the phone, unlock the phone, launch the app etc..) if you want a viewfinder and control over shooting parameters.

Sony’s QX100 at least is untethered or attached in a less precarious fashion.

Also the ONE has a similar FOV as the iPhone’s built in camera lens.
And for a phone the camera is quite decent with all downsides of a small sensor, but it’s not a shoddy performer.

So what exactly does the ONE offer aside from higher image quality at the expense of 600$?
Mind you that you can find Sony’s QX100 for almost half that price tag these days…

And last but not least – I don’t see myself lugging around any of these accessory lenses, cameras etc… if I need more than the phone, than I either take one of the compacts, my LX100 or the DSLR…
