Sony’s trio of new ‘G’-series prime lenses are aimed at enthusiast photographer that want high quality and good manual control without the bigger size and higher cost of faster-aperture lenses. Sony has announced a trio of compact full-frame lenses: the 24mm F2.8 G, 40mm F2.5 G and 50mm F2.5 G. All three are the same size, weight and price ($599), and will be available in May.
