In Photos: Sebastian Luczywo’s unconventional family portraits

They’re fun, artistic, show a sense of humour and creativity.
But will they want them in 15 years time or the more “normal” shots?

I used to go to kindergartens and child minding centres and just take photos of the kids running around and playing – natural smiles and laughter.

$7 a pop, 5 for me, 2 for the minding centre – made a lot of money from the mums; they got lovely shots of their kids playing and building, digging, having fun.

Sometimes the best shot are the un-posed ones, the kid hugging the dog, poking his head behind the monkey bars when you call his name, etc..

No, I’m not jealous of the shots, I’m just unmoved by the arty-farty quality of them.
