Leica teases ‘Mini M’ for 11th June release

First of all, neither M9 nor X2 are rebadged Panasonics.
Secondly, most little digicams are made somewhere in China, with bunch of electronics supplied from Taiwan, and lenses assembled on site as well, etc. So based on this logic you could say that most Canon, Nikon compact p&s are Chinese junk rebadged with Nikon and Canon names priced with 40% premium.

But the fact of the matter, it’s a free market environment, some people want it and they buy it.
It’s quiet simple, if you think it’s overpriced you just don’t want it, or can’t afford it.

I had LC1 and loved it, but later sold it and bought Leica D2, yes they are the same but people sometimes pay more for design features and just plain looks. I still have and even use D2, and Panasonic is long gone, yes just because it looked like Panasonic.

But enough about p&s toys.
if you want M9 or M240 camera, there is nothing else in the world today that is the same. Canon 5d is not it, I have both so I know.
