Reply to Only one photo per day, now?

As someone who administers several groups, I offer:

1. One per day is a very common requirement in groups going for a higher quality of submissions. While three per day is more common, the quality tends to go down. Personally, I’m OK with it. I usually only post one picture a day, if that.

2. The admin doesn’t owe an explanation. Group rules change all of the time. Admins don’t bother with a lot of communication either because they don’t want to, or it isn’t worth it. People dumping pictures into a group rarely read the announcements or the discussions.

3. Don’t make assumptions about the number of administrators in the group. The vast majority are ghosts – they have left flickr, but they’re still in all of the groups.
